Entre os dias 16 e 19 de setembro, o povo venezuelano organizou uma importante ação de afirmação soberana, em que os presentes de diversos países, representantes de organizações, associações e movimentos sociais diversos, assim como chefes de Estado, puderam manifestar seu apoio e solidariedade ao povo irmão da Venezuela na aguerrida e sustentada resistência contra a ingerência imperialista, contra a ofensiva das forças reacionárias e oligárquicas e pela continuidade e aprofundamento da grandiosa Revolução Bolivariana.

On the International Day of Peace, 21st of September, the peoples have manifested their desire for a fairer world, an egalitarian international order and respect for the nations’ sovereignty, pillars for the end of wars, imperialism and colonialism, respect for the environment and solidarity between the peoples. Yet, they have also reaffirmed their resistance to the warmongering and interventionist policies promoted by aggressive and offensive policies such as those of the US president Donald Trump at the UN General Assembly.

En el Día Internacional de la Paz, el 21 de septiembre, los pueblos han manifestado su deseo de un mundo más justo, un orden internacional igualitario y el respeto a la soberanía de las naciones, pilares para el fin de las guerras, imperialismo y colonialismo, respeto al medio ambiente y solidaridad entre los pueblos. Sin embargo, también han reafirmado su resistencia a las políticas belicistas e intervencionistas promovidas por políticas agresivas y ofensivas como las del presidente estadounidense Donald Trump en la Asamblea General de la ONU.

No Dia Internacional da Paz, 21 de setembro, os povos manifestaram seu desejo por um planeta mais justo, uma ordem internacional equitativa e o respeito à soberania das nações, pilares para o fim das guerras, do imperialismo e do colonialismo, o respeito ao ambiente e a solidariedade entre os povos. Ainda assim, reafirmaram a resistência às políticas beligerantes e intervencionistas promovidas por falas agressivas e ofensivas como a do presidente estadunidense Donald Trump na Assembleia Geral da ONU.

The World Peace Council condemns the ongoing brutal attacks and ruthless torture on Rohingyas people living in Rakhaine province in Myanmar which became an act of “Ethnic cleansing” resulting in killing of thousands of innocent people. The Myanmar government also forced millions of Rohingyas to cross border to take shelter mainly in Bangladesh and few thousands in India.

In the framework of the decision by the World Peace Assembly, held in Brazil, restated by the European WPC member organizations meeting, held in Berlin, to mark the International Day of Peace with initiatives against nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, and against foreign military bases, the WPC European member organizations join and contribute to the success of this day of action by, among other activities, divulging the collectively drafted "Appeal to the peoples of Europe - Give more strength to the struggle for peace!
