The Committee Against War Milan (Comitato Contro la Guerra Milano) participated at the demonstration, held Saturday 19 May in Milan, in support of the struggle of the Palestinian people, against the transfer of the US embassy to Jerusalem, which occurred just before the day of the Catastrophe (Nakba, in Arabic); 70 years of oppression and suffering for the people expelled from their land.

With the Committee Against War Milan there were also the flags of countries historically Palestine’s friends and themselves attacked by US imperialism and by Zionism too.

All India Peace & Solidarity Organisation condemns in unequivocal terms the latest Israeli assault on the Palestinian people on May 14, 2018 that killed at least 58 people and injured about 2,700, many of them in their teens. It is a matter of grave concern that Israeli forces opened fire without any provocation on peaceful demonstrators when they had gathered near the so-called Gaza border, to commemorate the anniversary of Nakba.

he Brazilian Center for Solidarity with the Peoples and Struggle for Peace (CEBRAPAZ) expresses its deep revolt against yet another episode in the massacre of the Palestinian people and its unwavering support for the struggle for a just peace, for a free and sovereign Palestine. We further express sorrow and indignation for the over 3,000 wounded and for the deaths of over 110 people -- half of them this 14th of May alone, while the USA opened its Embassy in Jerusalem, thus recognizing the city, unilaterally and illegitimately, as Israel's capital.

Czech Peace Movement together with other peace and anti-fascist organizations organised a meeting to commemorate the 4th anniversary of fascist massacre at the Trade Union House in Odessa in 2014 and dozens of its victims, who were murdered by Ukrainian fascists. Meeting took place on May 2 2018 on the Venceslav's square in the centre of Prague and was attended by Czech, Ukrainian and Russian people opposing war and fascism.

In a provocative, irresponsible measure that goes against all of the democratic and progressive forces’ efforts for a fair political solution to the situation in Palestine – where a people faces heroically one century of colonization and five decades of Israeli military occupation – the US opened up its Embassy in Jerusalem on the 14th of May, as ordered by President Donald Trump.

The Cyprus Peace Council (CPC) denounces Israel’s murderous attack on the Palestinian people, resulting in more than fifty dead and hundreds of injured Palestinians who were demonstrating for their return to the Palestinian territories occupied by the State of Israel. All these atrocities in Gaza were being committed as the state of Israel was celebrating its 70th anniversary since its establishment and at the same time as celebrations were ongoing for the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem, recognizing it as the capital of Israel.

The World Peace Council (WPC) denounces strongly to the peoples of the world the recent and still ongoing massacre of the Israeli army against peaceful Palestinian protesters in the Gaza strip. This new brutal crime of the occupation regime shows its cruel face and proves the arrogance of a heavily armed state which denies for more than 70 years the right for an independent State for the Palestinians, as it ought to have happened according to the UN Resolution 181 in 1947.

On the National Day of anti-imperialist Action allover Greece. In Athens Peace March of 42,3 km distance carried out with the participation of thousands of demonstrators from ancient Marathon to the Greek Ministry of Defense.

Similar Peace marches were held on the same day in the cities of Thessaloniki, Larissa, Alexandroupolis, Chania (Crete), Patras, Ioannina, Samos island with many throusands participants upon the call of EEDYE.
