On the occasion of a national holiday October 28th 2015, the day 97th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia, the Czech Peace Movement organised in cooperation with other peace and anti-war organizations and initiatives, a demonstration for peace, democracy and sovereignty. The demonstration took place on the Square of the Republic in the center of Prague.
Representative of the Czech Peace Movement, Milan Krajca, informed participants of the demonstration on the recent campaign against membership of the Czech Republic in NATO. He also mentioned contemporary NATO maneuvers "Trident Juncture 2015". He stated the Czech peace-loving people's appreciation for activities of the World Peace Council and its member organizations against this military exercise, which is one of the biggest in the NATO history.
