Mike Pompeo and Netanyahu are not welcome to Portugal!

It was announced that Mike Pompeo, US Secretary of State was coming to Portugal. Afterwards the presence of the Israeli prime-minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, that will hold meetings with Pompeo and Portuguese authorities, was also confirmed.

Mike Pompeo is one of those responsible for the policy of the Trump Administration. A policy of militaristic escalation and confrontation that attacks sovereignty, democracy and International Law and is dragging the world into great dangers. Mike Pompeo is one of the most reactionary and warmongering representatives in the US Administration.

Netanyahu represents not only one of the most aggressive sectors of zionism, as is responsible for the worsening of the occupation of Palestine, and uncountable war crimes and the mass repression of Palestinians.

On December 6th we will take to the streets to say that Mike Pompeo is not welcome to Portugal and that we reject the policy of the US Administration! We will voice our solidarity with the Palestinian people struggling for its inalienable national rights and affirm that we do not accept the presence of Benjamin Netanyahu in our country,

We will bring together solidarities with the peoples who, in defending their rights, resist the manoeuvres, blackmail and threats of the Trump Administration.

We will demand peace, disarmament, respect for freedom, sovereignty, democracy, compliance with International Law.

For peace and disarmament!

We will say: No to NATO! No to the arms race! No to nuclear weapons! No to war!

For peace in the Middle East!

We will say: End the wars of the US and its allies against Syria, Yemen, Iraq! No to war against Iran!

Free and independent Palestine!

We will say: End the Israeli occupation! For the State of Palestine in compliance with UN resolutions!

Sovereignty for the peoples of Latin America!

We will say: End US coups, blockades, US aggression against the peoples of Latin America!

For the rights of refugees!

We will say: No to war, aggression and interference by the US! No to racism and xenophobia!

For the protection of the environment!

We will say: No to the wars of plunder of natural resources! No to the pillage of peoples' resources by transnationals!

On December 6th, we will join forces and show to Mike Pompeo and to Netanyahu that the world does not belong to them, that there are always those who resist and advance and that the forces of solidarity will prevail!

Mike Pompeo e Netanyahu não são bem vindos a Portugal!

Foi anunciada a vinda a Portugal de Mike Pompeo, Secretário de Estado norte-americano. Posteriormente, foi confirmada a presença do primeiro-ministro israelita Benjamin Netanyahu, que manterá reuniões com Pompeo e com as autoridades portuguesas.

Mike Pompeo é um dos responsáveis pela política da Administração Trump. Uma política de escalada militarista e de confrontação que agride a soberania, a democracia e o direito internacional e que está a arrastar o Mundo para grandes perigos. Mike Pompeo é um dos representantes dos sectores mais reaccionários e belicistas instalados na Administração norte-americana.

Já Netanyahu é não apenas representante dos sectores mais agressivos do sionismo como é responsável pelo agravamento da ocupação da Palestina, por incontáveis crimes de guerra e pela repressão massiva dos palestinos.

No dia 6 de Dezembro sairemos à rua para afirmar que Mike Pompeo não é bem vindo a Portugal e que rejeitamos a política da Administração norte-americana! Daremos voz à solidariedade com o povo palestino que luta pelos seus inalienáveis direitos nacionais e afirmaremos que não aceitamos a presença no nosso país de Benjamin Netanyahu.

Faremos convergir as solidariedades com os povos que, defendendo os seus direitos, resistem às manobras, chantagens e ameaças da Administração Trump.

Vamos exigir a paz, o desarmamento, o respeito pela liberdade, a soberania a democracia, o cumprimento do direito internacional.

Pela paz e o desarmamento!

Afirmaremos: Não à NATO! Não à corrida aos armamentos! Não às armas nucleares! Não à guerra!

Pela paz no Médio Oriente!

Afirmaremos: Fim das guerras dos EUA e seus aliados contra a Síria, o Iémen, o Iraque! Não à guerra contra o Irão!

Palestina livre e independente!

Afirmaremos: Fim à ocupação israelita! Pelo Estado da Palestina no respeito das resoluções das Nações Unidas!

Soberania dos povos da América Latina!

Afirmaremos: Fim aos golpes de Estado, aos bloqueios, à agressão dos EUA contra os povos da América Latina!

Pelos direitos dos refugiados!

Afirmaremos: Não à guerra, agressão e ingerência dos EUA! Não ao racismo e à xenofobia!

Pela defesa do meio ambiente!

Afirmaremos: Não às guerras de saque dos recursos naturais! Não à depredação dos recursos dos povos pelas transnacionais!

Dia 6 de Dezembro, iremos unir forças e demonstrar a Mike Pompeo e a Netanyahu que o Mundo não lhes pertence, que há sempre quem resista e avance e que a força da solidariedade vencerá!
