El imperialismo estadounidense vuelve a intensificar su presión sobre el pueblo cubano, que ha defendido valientemente la independencia y el sistema socialista de su país durante décadas. Apenas unos días antes del final del mandato del presidente Donald Trump, su secretario de Estado, Mike Pompeo, anunció que incluía unilateralmente a Cuba en una lista de estados que apoyan el terrorismo. Este acto escandaloso y vergonzoso se encontró con razón con una oposición extremadamente fuerte tanto en el propio territorio de los Estados Unidos (EE.UU.) como en todo el mundo.

The Czech Peace Movement strongly condemns the shameful destruction of the memorial of Marshal of the Soviet Union Ivan Stepanovich Konev, commander of the Red Army which 75 years ago brought freedom and peace to Prague. The leadership of the Municipal Dictrict Prague 6 headed by mayor Ondřej Kolář disgracefully ordered the destruction of said memorial, which for four decades symbolized gratitude for liberators of our capitol and country from fascist's occupation and terrors of the World War II.

On Friday March 15th 2019 the Czech Peace Movement together with other anti-war and anti-fascist organizations commemorated the 80th anniversary of the German Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia. The commemorative meeting took place on Wenceslas Square in Prague. Among other speakers there was also the chairman of the Czech Peace Movement Milan Krajca who underlined the importance not only of the defence of the historical truth, but also of the contemporary struggle against today's danger of fascism and war.

The Czech Peace Movement most definitely protests against the recognition of Juan Guaidó as „the provisional president of Venezuela“ by the Czech government. At this step the Czech Republic has shamefully joined the United States of America and the Euroepoan Union in attempts of coup d´etat in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

On Wednesday July 11 2018 a demonstration against NATO took place on Wenceslas Square in the centre of Prague, Czech Republic. Protest was organised by the Czech Peace Movement in the framework of the international anti-imperialist campaign of the World Peace Council "YES TO PEACE! NO TO NATO!" and was orgaised the same day the NATO summit started in Brussels, Belgium.

Czech Peace Movement together with other peace and anti-fascist organizations organised a meeting to commemorate the 4th anniversary of fascist massacre at the Trade Union House in Odessa in 2014 and dozens of its victims, who were murdered by Ukrainian fascists. Meeting took place on May 2 2018 on the Venceslav's square in the centre of Prague and was attended by Czech, Ukrainian and Russian people opposing war and fascism.

Commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the death of National Artist Vitezslav Nezval (1900 – 1958) took place on Thursday April 5th 2018 in front of the house of this famous Czechoslovakian poet in Prague, Czech Republic.

The commemorative meeting speakers included Meritorious Artist and president of the Union of Czech Writers Karel Sys, chairwoman of the Prague Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia and member of the Prague City Assembly Marta Semelova and chairman of the Czech Peace Movement, Milan Krajca.
